Warm, cinnamon-sugared, and the first thing most families reach for. Made fresh through the fall, and the smell alone is reason enough to visit. They are the thread that ties every visit together, the souvenir of the day, the thing that gets people back in the door next season.
A working farm shop. Some things are made next door at the Abbey; most are pantry goods we carry because our regulars come back for them.
Most pantry goods are products we carry, not made on the farm.
Abbey Farms has been part of the Marmion community since 1949, a working farm and a gathering place tended by the monks and the families who grew up coming here. Three generations later, the seasons have changed, the calendar has filled, and the welcome has stayed the same.
The farm sits on the Marmion Abbey grounds, a few minutes from downtown Aurora and easy to reach from anywhere in the Fox Valley. Bring the family, bring the group, plan to stay a while.
Each season opens a different part of the property: the fields for spring and summer events, the pumpkin patch and hayride routes for Pumpkin Daze, the choose-and-cut rows in December.
